Well-being practice: time for yourself with yoga and nature
The aim of this course is to support participants' well-being while practicing yoga and spending lots of time in nature. Participants will be able to switch off for the following seven days of the course. They will acquire techniques how to support their own well-being, however, these techniques can be easily transformed into work with their learners, and thus influence their learners' well-being which has been very crucial in the educational process recently.
Every morning there will be a yoga session during which participants will have a chance to stretch and strengthen their body and mind. Participants will acquire the basics of healthy movement, techniques for correct breathing, concentration, relaxation, and meditation techniques.
After, we will set up for hikes into the surrounding nature emphasizing place-based learning, meditation while walking, developing sense perception, and others. We will observe the outer space and the inner space as well. Participants will acquire activities they can do outdoors with their students to support their mental health, good relationships, and secure communication.
This course includes physical activity but on a moderate level. Every day we will hike approximately 10 km.
